Online Mixing
From zipped audio-files to a finished mix in a nutshell:

Prepare your files, see the FAQs for all details

Upload your files by clicking on the upload button

I mix the first song and return it to you for feedback

If necessary, I'll upload improved mix revisions until you are happy

Once approved, I'll mix the remaining songs and return them to you for feedback

You can download the files immediately after making the final payment (see payment terms below).

By making the final payment, you approve the mix as completed

I'd be happy to recommend a suitable mastering house for your song
Communication is key:

I'll do my very best to reply quickly, typically within 24h. Over the weekend I usually respond to urgent matters only, all other communication will be answered shortly after.

Email is my preferred method of communication. You can help me getting back to you quicker by using only one email address, ideally the one you used for the first contact.

If you are representing a band, I'd prefer if all communication came through one band member representing the entire band - which is probably you. I'd also appreciate it if you could collect and moderate your band's mix feedback - just to avoid learning from one member that a signal needs to come up, but from another member to turn the same signal down.

I can also offer Zoom video chats.

Your mix feedback is most effective when it is constructive and includes ideas for improvement and descriptions of what you are envisioning.
Turnaround Times:

The turnaround time for a single song is commonly 5-6 days, an EP about a week, and an album about 14 days.

Faster turnaround times may be possible at additional cost. Contact me to discuss details.
What's included in a quote:

Consultation (Not sure if your song is ready for mixing? Upload a rough-mix and let's have a yarn together),

All file management,
-
All mixing tasks, including (but not limited to) balancing, EQ, compression, polishing, reverbs, delays and special FX... everything that makes a good mix.

All revisions and feedback implementation within 1 month from the completion of the first mix. We agree to collaboratively and productively work towards completing your project in a timely manner

What's not included:

Detailed performance editing, such as timing correction and vocal tuning etc.

Compiling and decisions on which takes to use
-
Sound restoration and noise reduction

Adding additional files or replacing files after the mix-process has started.

Unreasonably excessive mix revisions requests. Rest assured that you have nothing to worry about if you share my drive for completing your project to your satisfaction in a timely manner. However, I need to set some limits, especially when it comes to indecisive or contradictory requests.

Sometimes, some of the above cannot be avoided. And it is not the end of the world if it happens. But please understand that this may cause additional costs, of which you will be notified, of course.
Payment terms:
A 50% upfront deposit (non-refundable) is required
Mixing begins once

I've received all files and

I've received the 50% deposit
The remaining balance is due 30 days after the delivery of the first mix, or at the time of mix approval (whichever comes first). Payment will be made through PayPal or credit card, and the mixes are available for download immediately after payment.

By paying the remaining balance, you approve the project irreversibly.
